Sheep CRC Genomics Breakfast Workshop

During LambEx the Sheep CRC hosted a genomics breakfast workshop which focused on the following topics:

  • Introducing sheep genomic technologies and theInformation Nucleus (James Rowe, Sheep CRC)
  • How well is the sheep industry positioned to capture the benefits of genomic technologies (Ben Hayes (DPI Vic)
  • New genomic technologies - opportunities for the Australian lamb industry (Rob Banks (MLA)
  • What genomic technologies means to stud breeders - faster genetic gain and more control (Andrew Michael, Leahcim Poll Merinos)

 

. The workshop was well attended with over 400 people arriving before 7.00am to attend the breakfast workshop. The workshop papers are available for download below.
